Seasonality: when to buy more leads

Buying the same volume all year is a mistake in many sectors. Matching lead buying to intent peaks multiplies the return.

  • Solar and HVAC: spring-summer (AC) and autumn-winter (boilers).
  • Pools: winter-spring to have them by summer.
  • Education: before each enrollment intake.
  • Auto insurance: at policy renewal.
  • Renovations: pick up after holidays and at year start.

Buy where there's intent: a lead in peak season is worth more than the same lead off-season, because intent is higher. Concentrate budget on the peaks.

What to do off-season

Off-peak, lower volume and use it to nurture those who'll decide in season, refine the brief and prepare the team. Don't disappear entirely: prepare the ground.

Plan with data

With your measurement from past years, identify your real peaks and plan budget. Seasonality well used is money your competition leaves on the table.

Don't buy leads at a constant pace in a market that isn't: buy hard when there's intent and sow when there isn't.
